THE MULLET
DANNY JANSEN

A boy`s dream comes true : playing darts at a world top level. He threw his first darts in a local pub in Holten and now he plays darts  in front of spectators in large stadiums.

In December 2018 he became Dutch champion for juniors and no-one could avoid him.

He is internationally known as the “Mullet”, but known in The Netherlands as Danny of Menum. Danny was born on 15th May 2002 at the Menumsweg in Holten. His father played darts competitions in Toontje`s pub in Holten. He played football but after an accident Danny thought “I also want to try this“.

He proved to have some talent and so be it. He won prizes in his first country match .From that moment he won prize after prize , the highlight being the Dutch championship for juniors in 2018.

He joined the Dutch darts team shortly afterwards. He has a big fan club following him at  every darts tournament.

In 2022, he surprised everyone, and especially himself, by gaining a tour ticket at the Q school.

I went there to gain experience and didn’t expect to get the tour ticket. I’m quite young, but very pleased to have it“

In April 2022 he won his first PDC ranking title. His biggest dream is to play World Championship darts.

In between playing darts, he works on the farm which he runs with his parents and grandparents. They have a horse farm and they rear cows.
